This happened last week in Lake Tahoe, California. Two bearstriedtosave a crying cub that was trapped in a motel dumpster. The smaller oneclimbs up the side but has no luckwith the closed lid.
Fortunately, the sheriff's departmentcame to the rescue.After getting the other animals to back off,the officerswere ableto open the lid andslidea ladder inside so the cubcouldcrawl out on its own.
