Arizona Is Working To Become A 'Death With Dignity' State

Arizona has been working on changes lots of bills in the last few weeks. Some including no taxes on diapers/tampons, raising gas prices, and then this one about becoming a state where terminally ill people can go to die with dignity according to ABC15 .

Death with dignity is also known as "physician-assisted suicide" . It is for people who know they have an incurable (terminal) disease like a tumor, cancer or Alzheimers, and so forth, be able to choose their death. Most time it is before they get really sick so they don't have to suffer.

Arizona would become the 8th state in the country to allow this if it passes.

" The bill would allow terminally ill patients to legally end their life, after consulting their doctor and providing sane, written permission, as well as a waiting period. The details are eight pages, outlining the conditions needed for a person to qualify."
