There is a few new studies out today that say Americans spending about 2 hours a day shopping online at work according to CNBC.
One of the studies was done by Finder.com. "Overall, 57 percent of employed Americans confessed to shopping while on the clock, the personal finance site said, totaling some 234 million hours a day browsing the internet. Finder polled over 2,000 adults in June." The study from CareerBuilder found about half of employees spent at least an hour.
Not only does it get in the way with productivity but leads to mistakes and distractions. The best way to avoid this? Well, create a smaller time frame - 5 minutes to search online as a break instead of an hour or two hours!
