According to Bustle, there is a new study out that determines how many cups of coffee impacts your personality compared to non-coffee drinkers!
"Current Neuropharmacology in 2015 noted that coffee is the most psychoactive, or mind-altering, drug in the world, and it can improve cognitive skills, which might help with that identifying-emotions problem. After water, coffee is the most widely consumed drink in the world with 1.6 billion cups being consumed a day"
That is whole of coffee huh?!
"In a study published in the Canadian Psychiatric Association Journal, it was found that 17 percent of Americans drink more than five cups of coffee a day, and 1.5 percent of people in Ontario, Canada, drink more than 15 cups a day."
So what is the excessive daily amount? 10 cups of coffee and it has negative effects - "more likely than the general population to have a personality disorder."
The Mayo Clinic revealed it has it's benefits too - "Including protecting against Parkinson's disease, type 2 diabetes and liver disease, including liver cancer. Coffee also appears to improve cognitive function, and decrease the risk of depression." Like a cold cola, the caffeine in coffee can help get rid of headaches. After all, the biggest part of Excedrin medicine is caffeine.
Basically, it is knowing what you and your body can handle and of course drinking the best coffee product out there.
