Amy’s Daughter & Eddie’s Son Aren’t Excited About Driving

It has come to the Bobby Bones Show's attention that the next generation doesn't care that much about getting their license and driving.

A story in the NY Post said Gen Z is driving less than generations before them. Instead they use ride share apps or public transportation. Amy related to the story. Her 15-year-old daughter is also not that excited about getting her license. She currently has her permit, and they practice driving, but half the time they are forcing her to drive. Eddie’s son is also 15-years-old and in the same boat. He recently took him golfing so he could drive the golf cart and practice what it’s like to drive. When Eddie suggested that to him, he said he didn’t want to because it would stress him out. He said when he turns 16 in a year he doesn't want to drive.

Everyone on the show said they were extremely excited to start driving when they turned 16. They think it’s changed now because of how easy it is to get a ride now through apps like Uber and Lyft.
