The Internet Loves Charles Barkley's Friendship With A Cat Litter Scientist

Sometimes you have to love the internet because it finds stories such as this one! Charles Barkley's friendship with a cat litter scientist according to People Magazine.

When you put it that way, it just sounds crazy. A basketball player who became a sports analyst meets a cat litter scientist and becomes friends sounds out of left field! It's like a  radio DJ becomes friends with someone who makes dog food. It's just random! Yet, the story behind their friendship is what matters here!

How did Charles Barkley and his cat litter scientist friend, Lin Wang, meet? In Sacramento at a bar during a business trip. Wang just wanted a picture cause well you gotta have proof of meeting Charles Barkley! HELLLOOO! The photo led to a friendly convo. 

" were the only two people in there. And we just sit down and started talking. And, before we know it, we looked at each other, like, ‘Yo, man, I’m hungry. Let’s go to dinner It turned into a two-hour dinner. And then we actually went back to the bar and just sit there and talked for another couple of hours. And the rest is history." The two had a lot in common!

This all took place years and years ago by the way! They ran into each in 2015 when Barkley's mom passed and Wang went to attend the funeral! And even when Barkley found out Wang had been diagnosed with Cancer, a year later, he got upset that Wang didn't tell him which ended up with his passing in 2018. 

This is a story and a reminder that you come across certain people in your life for a reason! What a story!
