Check Out The New Golden Globes Trophy

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the Golden Globes will have an updated trophy just in time for the upcoming ceremony that will take place on January 6th! 

"One of the primary changes made to the trophy is the absence of a square marble base, replaced instead with a cylindrical metal one. The new trophy consists of zinc, brass and bronze and weighs 7.8 pounds, 2.3 pounds more than last year's trophy."

The trophy is apparently a big larger in size too! Whomever is lucky enough to receive one, make sure make more room for it!
