New Tide Packaging Looks Like Boxed Wine

Tide detergent just released a new packaging that looks awfully like boxed wine! But trust us, after the Tide Pod fad, you will not wanna mix this up with boxed wine according to Scary Mommy!

“We all know laundry detergent is for cleaning clothes,” the company said in a statement. “To be sure people know this is detergent, we put a large picture of our Tide bottle on the side of the box.”

So why did Tide go with this design?

"A boxed product like this is easier to store and transport. If the inner bag that contains the detergent is recyclable, this is also way more eco-friendly than those giant plastic jugs you could get before. There are a lot of benefits to transitioning to this kind of packaging."

Make sure you keep it away from the kiddos and of course away from the boxed wine so you don't make a dangerous mistake!
