Matthew McConaughey Auditioned For Leonardo DiCaprio's 'Titanic' Role

Big question here, could you have imagined anyone other than Leonardo DiCaprio starring aside Kate Winslet in Titanic? Probably not because it has become that iconic of a role and movie. 

Apparently according to Entertainment Weekly, Matthew McConaughey almost took that role - well actually, he auditioned for the same role! 

“I wanted that,” he said. “I auditioned with Kate Winslet. Had a good audition. Walked away from there pretty confident that I had it. I didn’t get it. I never got offered that.”

Imagine if he got that role over Leonardo DiCaprio!
