Lights Over Phoenix Again

Elon Musk, the guy responsible for the Tesla automobile and the superfast Hyperloop train, launched another private rocket into space yesterday. The SpaceX Falcon Heavy took off around 1:45pm Arizona time headed for Mars. Payload on the rocket included a Tesla Roadster and a mannequin named "Starman."

A technical glitch after the rocket left the earth's atmosphere will prevent the Falcon Heavy from completing it's 250-million mile journey to the Red Planet.

Around 7:30pm many Valley residents reported seeing more lights in the sky. Although SpaceX has not confirmed it, the white streaking lights on the horizon were likely a booster falling back to earth.
