Valley Based Homebuilders Pro National Anthem Ad

A Valley-based homebuilding company has fired back at NFL players who have decided to sit or kneel during the pregame national anthem.

Fulton Homes, which is headquartered in Tempe, announced a new television ad called "Stand" that will be aired in the East Valley during Monday Night Football games on Sept. 11 (Two weeks ago) No word if the add will play again tonight

The ad depicts Cardinals fans and others rising for the national anthem as it's played on TV before a game.

"At Fulton Homes, we stand for our country," the script reads. "America has given us freedom, liberty and opportunity like no other country in the world. And that's worth standing for. Fulton Homes. You're proud to own, we're proud to stand for the USA."

The ad "is in response to NFL players like Colin Kaepernick who began to sit or kneel during the National Anthem being played just before kickoff of their games, as a political statement," Fulton Homes said in a press release Monday. "By many accounts, fans did not receive these gestures very kindly and viewership has suffered because of it."

"This ad is a progression of everything we've done over the years to honor our country, our veterans and our first responders," Fulton Homes CEO Doug Fulton said in a statement. "I've always believed that America is the land of opportunity, which is a value that we hold with the utmost importance at Fulton Homes."
