When I moved here almost 8 years ago, Pizzeria Bianco was one of the first places I went to eat. As someone who didn't grow up in The Valley, but LOVED food, I had seen the reviews and had to try it out for myself. No surprise, it lived up to the hype.
Now in 2022, I know the name Chris Bianco (the guy behind the pizzeria) but haven't ever met him. I have friends who own business in the food industry who know him...who speak highly of him so when I found out he had an episode of "Chef's Table: Pizza" on Netflix, it was a no brainer. I had to watch.
I'm a sucker for a small business, not just because my wife runs one, but because those people are built differently. Their hustle and creativity are on another level. What a story, a must watch in my opinion.
Much respect to Chris and what he's done for food in our city...but also for the impact he's made across the country.
