Lady A's 'What A Song Can Do Tour' will be fueled by adrenaline.
Dave Haywood, Charles Kelley, and Hillary Scott are hyped to hit the road. In a recent interview with CMT Radio, the trio shared what they have missed most about touring and how their spouses feel about it.
"Every single part of it. Obviously being front row with fans again, and high fiving them if we are able to and just seeing them in person," says Dave Haywood. "I don't know, just watching their emotion, hearing their applause, connecting. But on top of that, I mean being out together backstage with our band and crew."
"Smelling the diesel of the buses," Charles adds. "Seriously, it's the little things like that. Like, trying to fall asleep for the first weekend while the bus is moving, by the end of the tour, you sleep better on the buses than you do at home. All the little things that go along with it."
"The adrenaline rush is what I miss," reveals Charles. "That first opening note and the crowd losing their minds, that's what I miss the most. I think our spouses need a little bit of a break."
"I am sure they will come out on the road, and they know how much we love it and miss it," says Charles. "I know my wife specifically, is like, "No, this is a big part of me and us that has been taken away, and they're ready for it to come back."
