Gabby Barrett is teaming up with her husband, Cade Foehner, on a duet that will appear on her new Christmas album, Carols and Candlelight. The married duo will deliver a rendition of “Baby, It’s Cold Outside.”
Barrett confirmed her holiday project earlier this week after dropping hints about the announcement. She said at that time, “if you know me, you know that Christmas is my FAVORITE time of the year. …I know we’re close to Halloween, but my heart is in HOLIDAY MODE!!!!! 🎄”
The first song to release from Barrett’s Christmas album is “I’ll Be Home For Christmas,” which will make its debut on Friday (October 25). The full record will arrive on November 8. Carols and Candlelight is Barrett’s second project to release this year, following her highly-anticipated sophomore country album, Chapter & Verse.
Barrett met Foehner when the two artists competed on American Idol in 2018. They got married the following year, and have since welcomed three children together: daughter Baylah May, son Augustine Boone and daughter Ivy Josephine. Baby No. 3 was born shortly after Barrett released Chapter & Verse in February.
