Luke Combs revealed a snippet of an unreleased song that already has his social media followers feeling emotional and eager for an album announcement.

Combs posted a sneak peek of “Plant a Seed,” which arrives shortly after the award-winning country star teased heartfelt ballads about fatherhood, “Huntin’ By Yourself” and “The Man He Sees in Me.” Combs and his wife, Nicole Combs, welcomed their firstborn child, son Tex Lawrence Combs, on Fathers Day in June 2022. Less than one year later, they announced Baby No. 2 was on the way. Their second child, son Beau Lee Combs, was born in August 2023.

Combs did not say as of publication time on Wednesday (May 29), however, when “Plant a Seed” might made its debut, or when another album would arrive soon.

Most recently, Combs released “Ain’t No Love in Oklahoma,” his new single that appears in the upcoming Twisters film, starring Glen PowellKaty O’Brian and Daisy Edgar-Jones, among others. “Ain’t No Love in Oklahoma” was the first track to release from the star-studded Twisters album, which also includes Miranda Lambert, Lainey Wilson, Jelly Roll, Kane Brown and many others. Combs released the single and the music video earlier this month, around the time the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum announced he would be getting his own exhibit this summer. The Twisters movie and album will arrive on July 19.
