The City of Mesa wanted to play a little prank on residents by putting fake alligators in some of the local city run lakes, the idea being that the birds and turtles would sit on the fake gators... well Mesa residents did not know the gators were fake, and multiple calls to 911 were made.... Mesa has doubled down on the prank, and now is adding hippos to the lake!
