Jordan Davis is officially a father of three!
The “What My World Spins Around” star announced that he and his wife, Kristen, welcomed Baby No. 3, a son named Elijah Patrick.
“God is good!” Davis celebrated in his Instagram caption as he shared a heartwarming black-and-white image on Thursday afternoon (Jun 15). “My son Elijah Patrick is in the world…His momma did incredible in getting him here and we hope to get him home to his brother and sister soon.”
“Our third child, Eli, finally made his appearance into the world, and we couldn’t be more excited,” Davis added in a statement on his Instagram story. “That being said, unfortunately I will be postponing my show tomorrow in Milwaukee to stay home with my family, but we’ll see y’all September 14. Very blessed and thankful for all the well wishes and prayers, and so proud to get to be Eli’s Dad.”
Davis revealed that his family was growing earlier this year, when he shared an adorable video singing his heartwarming song, “Next Thing You Know.” He swapped a few of the lyrics to announce that a baby would arrive in June, tilting his camera to share a glimpse of Kristen’s growing baby bump.
The country star and his wife tied the knot in 2017, and since then, they’ve added “a few limbs to their family tree” (as the award-winning single featuring Luke Bryan, “Buy Dirt,” goes). The couple, who opted not to discover their baby’s gender before birth, are parents to Elijah’s big sister Eloise and big brother Locklan, born in 2019 and 2021, respectively.
“Each of my pregnancies have been the most beautiful and feminine experiences of my life 💐 Not every moment of pregnancy is easy but it is not lost on me how absolutely blessed I am to have carried these babies to at least 40 weeks each,” Kristen gushed in an Instagram caption on Monday (June 12) as she shared a breathtaking maternity photo. “As we countdown the hours until we meet our newest family member, I just sit here in awe of my body, this baby and God’s protection over us both. Come on sweet thing, we cannot wait to meet you, our littlest love🤍”
Davis recently shared, per his record label, that he was experiencing “all the emotions” as he and Kristen awaited Baby No. 3’s arrival. He felt the rush of being “excited and scared, nervous. I think the thing I’m looking most forward to is there’s no love like a new baby, and so being able to hold – we don’t know what it is yet – so being able to hold him or her for the first time is always pretty special.”
“There truly is no greater joy in the world than welcoming a baby,” Davis gushed around the time he and Kristen announced the pregnancy, adding that they’re “really excited come June to be bringing home a baby brother or a baby sister to Lock and Eloise. So far Kristen’s been great. Everything looks healthy, you know, we’re just continuing to pray for a safe delivery and looking forward to meeting the little fella or little girl here soon. I’m pumped.”
