Last Sunday on December 4th, Frontier Airlines had to cancel a flight from Orland to Knoxville. Unfortunately, the next flight to Knoxville would not be until Tuesday. Many of the stranded passengers were scrambling attempting to find a way home on other airlines. Of the stranded passengers, 13 of them had an idea to make it to Knoxville sooner than Tuesday. The idea was born, to rent a 15-passenger van and begin an 8-hour road trip. This random journey of 13 total strangers was documented on Alanah Story's TikTok, which you can see below. The van passengers included Story, who works in media and lives in Knoxville, her mother and godmother, Michelle Miller, who is an agriculture influencer known as "The Farm Babe" a family taking their teen daughter on a college visit at the University of Tennessee, two Mexico-based Europeans who became farmers, and a guy visiting friends in Orlando who had to be at work in the morning. As their 8-hour journey began, Story's TikTok began to go viral with thousands of views in a matter of minutes. The 13 strangers new viral success became something that united the van and opened up conversation and laughter. Story's TikTok's have been viewed millions of times. In the end. the 13 strangers made it home to Knoxville safely, and many of the passengers shared a common message, as crazy as the idea it was, it was refreshing to see strangers coming together for a common goal and enjoying each other’s company. You could call it a "Christmas Miracle"
