U.S. Postal Service to Issue First Batch of Scratch-and-Sniff Stamps

The U.S. Postal Service announced Monday that people will soon be able to add the sweet scent of summer to their letters, party invites, and even bills when the Postal Service introduces their first 'scratch-and-sniff' Frozen Treats Forever stamps June 20th in Austin, Texas.

The stamps will depict 20 different watercolor illustrations created by California artist Margaret Berg. Each of the 10 stamp designs include two different treats and feature the words "FOREVER" and "USA" along the bottom of each stamp.

The Frozen Treats Stamps are First Class Mail Forever stamps which never lose the value to the current First-Class mail one-ounce price.

The scratch-and-sniff stamps can be pre-ordered from the Postal Service on their website here. The stamps will be unveiled at Austin's Thinkery Children's Museum.
