CONGRATULATIONS!
Lois "Double-L" Lewis was ecstatic to learn that the Academy of Country Music had named her Major Market Personality of the Year in advance of the 56th annual ACM Awards, airing 8 p.m. Sunday on CBS.
This was Lewis's third ACM nomination. She's also earned three Country Music Association Awards nominations.
"I always want to make sure that I push myself to enter even if I think I don't have a chance of winning, because it's like a yearbook of what you've done throughout the year. And it's important to recap that because there's a lot of special moments. So I promised myself that I would and I kept at it. And it paid off. So no Susan Lucci."
