Trace Adkins surprised fans Tuesday night in Nashville when he took the stage at the Grand Ole Opry for an unannounced performance with the band Exile.
The performance was the first time Trace has performed in public since a run of personal problems earlier this year. Trace entered a rehab facility in January after taking his first drink in more than a decade. He left the treatment facility after less than two weeks to be with his father, who passed away at the beginning of February.
Trace Adkins website says he will resume his performance schedule at Seneca Niagara Casino Theatre in Niagara Falls, N.Y. on June 13.
