Tina Fey and Amy Poehler are bringing their comedic partnership back to the big screen. "Variety" confirms that the two are set to play sisters in an upcoming Universal comedy called "The Nest." The movie centers around two 30-something sisters who decide to have one last wild weekend in their family home after discovering their parents have put it up for sale.
It's based off the debut screenplay from "Saturday Night Live" writer Paula Pell. Fey and Poehler are both on board to executive produce the project. "Pitch Perfect" director Jason Moore is involved as well.
"The Nest" will be the first feature film starring the pair since 2008's "Baby Mama." The comediennes were cast members on "SNL" together for five years, and are also known for co-hosting the past two Golden Globe ceremonies.
