(Lake Mary, FL)  --  A smashed iPad could determine if criminal charges will be filed against George Zimmerman or his estranged wife Shellie after an altercation in their Florida home Monday.  Lake Mary Police spokesman Zach Hudson says Shellie recorded the incident on her iPad before George smashed the device into several pieces.  He says computer experts are working to recover the iPad footage which could be used as evidence.  Meanwhile, Hudson clarified initial reports from Monday and said George Zimmerman had no gun when he was searched by police.

His wife told a 911 operator he was threatening to shoot her and her family but Hudson says no weapon was found.  Zimmerman was recently acquitted of murder charges in the death of Trayvon Martin last year.
